The Story Behind the Studio

What started as a favor for a friend became a philosophy for life.

HYH Studio — short for Honey, You're Home — was born from a simple belief: that beautiful spaces aren't reserved for people with big budgets or blank-check renovations. They're built by people who know where to look, what to keep, and how to see potential where others see clutter.

I've been sourcing, styling, and selling vintage and antique furniture since 2019. But honestly? The real turning point came in 2020. When the world went quiet and everyone suddenly had to live in their homes — really live in them — I got serious. Friends and family started asking for help. They'd hand me their old pieces to sell, I'd use that money to find them something extraordinary, and together we'd transform their spaces from functional to genuinely beautiful. No huge budgets. No starting from scratch. Just thoughtful sourcing, a good eye, and the right piece in the right place.

That's still exactly what HYH Studios does today — just for a lot more people.
